Our webinars are designed to educate benefits professionals at all levels and specialties.
All programs will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Pacific Time. We are offering three series:
  • Benefits 101 Series - for agents or service professionals new to the benefits industry or those wanting a refresher. 
  • ​Beyond Basics Series - for seasoned agents or service professionals, digging into more complex topics.

May 14, 2024: ​101 – Pretax Programs – FSA & HSA
Program Summary
​
This program will review the regulations affecting both of these pre-tax savings programs, while outlining their similarities and differences.
Learning Outcomes
  • An understanding of which companies may have certain employees restricted from participating
  • Two main Healthcare Flexible Spending Account programs most commonly used by employers
  • Special rules for Health Savings Accounts, such as catchup contributions and the last month rule

July 18, 2024: ​Sales – 7 Sales Tips for New & Veteran Salespeople
Program Summary
This program offers new and veteran sales people tips for engaging with prospects at a peer-to-peer consultative level and helps salespeople experience more control during the sales process.

July 31, 2024: ​BB – Don’t Trip Up on Pretax Programs (FSA/HSA/HRA)
Program Summary

This session will review what to ask to be able to recommend and implement the best program(s) for each specific employer’s situation.

September 3, 2024: ​101 – WA Plan Marketplace – Direct Carriers/Trusts & Rate Calculations
Program Summary
This program will review the differences between plans/rates offered by direct carriers versus Trusts, how rates are calculated under the various-sized markets, and typical Trust “add-ons”.

  • Understanding which groups are considered “small” or “large” in the direct-to-carrier market
  • Understanding how employee rates are calculated in the direct and Trust markets
  • Understanding the Trust market and rules regarding “like” businesses
